The emphasis should be on usable power and increased lift that is easily controllable by the rider, as both manoeuvrability and handling are key factors in any wave sail.HOW WAS IT DONE? Aggressive shaping in the bottom section of the sail for early planning and power in onshore conditions. Low center of effort and shaping for a light feel, improved balance. A relatively flat top section allows the leech to open up softly and efficiently, aiding control through the release of any excess power, particularly when landing jumps. Higher pre-tension on the leech for earlier planing and more punch when used in onshore conditions. High aspect ratio with a longer mast for high response. Light but strong construction including limited use of mono-film for performance wave sailing.
